Gather around our Colonial Fire Pit

Is there anything more magical than the glow of a campfire to see you through the evening? The moment the pile of wood in front of you crackles and creaks into life, the best part of any holiday can begin. Before long, you’re wrapped in a blanket watching sparks and glowing ash float languidly up into the starry sky above, as your cheeks glow with the heat of the blaze.
Firepit and BBQ area.

Although located in the powered site area, our Fire Pit is open for all guests to use. Grab some marshmallows, make up some damper and talk the night away on our purpose-built pit. Firewood is available to purchase from the office. This also makes a great spot for our park get togethers. 

The Firepit area has a range of seating and table options, and also has an a large 'all weather' shelter, offering haven from the elements. Check out the wood fired BBQ on our facilities and activities page which also shares this area.

Use of the firepit is subject to office approval due to the nature of fire and our close proximity to the Crowdy Bay National Park.
